The Discussion on Standardization Scopes Considering Smart Cities and Spatial Intelligence

스마트시티와 공간지능에 관점에서 표준화 범위 논의

Abstract

Although it has been pointed out that the use of geo-spatial information is important in the development process of smart cities, building DB and visualization of urban features has overwhelmed solving and analyses of urban problems. GIS database had been developed with limits for spatial analyses. In addition, for planning the next smart cities, it is intended to enhance the satisfaction of citizens who experience smart city services. We aim to clarify and to suggest issues in discussing and exploring directions in determining the scopes of standardization among various complex technologies and policies.

우리나라의 스마트시티 개발과정에 공간정보의 활용이 중요하다는 것을 지적해왔음에도 불구하고 실제 수행과정에서 도시 지형지물의 DB 구축과 가시화를 강조하였고, 공간분석이 가능하도록 DB를 구축하지 못하여 스마트시티를 구축하고자 하는 사람들의 요구를 만족시킬 수가 없었다. 한편으로 스마트시티를 기획할 때, 시민들이 스마트시티 서비스를 경험에 대한 만족도를 제고해야 한다는 요구를 받고 있다. 다른 한편으로, 표준의 목표는 상호호환성의 확보에 있으며 표준화 범위와 필요성에 대한 논의 역시 복잡한 기술과 정책 방향에 달려 있기에, 본 고에서는 스마트시티에서 공간지능을 인간지능의 확장 차원에서 검토하고, 표준화 범위에 상반된 이견을 구체화하여 제시하여, 향후 스마트시티 로드맵을 결정하는 과정에서 고려할 여러 이슈를 드러내고자 하였다.
