This study aims to establish an integrated, map-based historical information service model that spatially structures Korean prehistoric site data and expands its usability across academic research, education, and public engagement. Existing excavation reports and cultural heritage databases remain fragmented across institutions, lacking standardization and interoperability, which hinders temporal and spatial analysis. To address these limitations, this study standardizes unstructured prehistoric data using a unified metadata schema and defines four GIS-based spatial models—single-layered sites, clustered multi-site areas, stratified multilayer sites, and linear sequential site groups—implemented with GeoJSON. A system architecture integrating web-GIS enables a multi-tier user interface tailored for researchers, educators, and the general public. This approach connects excavation reports, site locations, and artifacts within a single spatiotemporal data network and demonstrates that research, instructional, and public map services can be built upon a shared data structure. The study contributes to the digital transformation of Korean archaeological data and presents practical implications for educational visualization, regional cultural content development, and the formation of national digital heritage policies.
